Where: Miami - Key West, FL When: February 14-17, 2011 Full payment due by December 14, 2010 Itinerary: Day 1) Pick up time 6:00 am Feb. 9 Depart at 6:30 am. We will stop in Clewiston for a 45 min. break. 1st item of the day Cape Florida State Park where we will enjoy a 2-3 hour stay exploring the park. 2nd item of the day is an Everglades safari. We will time it the best we can so that we are on the airboat in the daylight hours to finish the ride at sunset. To finish off the day we are scheduled for dinner at Lake Seafood Restaurant. Then we will retire for the night at the La Quinta Suite. Luggage will already be in your rooms. Good night sleep tight. Day 2) Enjoy a nice continental breakfast. We will depart the hotel at 9:45 am where we will meet a step on guide to give us a 3 1/2 - 4 hour tour of Miami South Beach, downtown Miami, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Little Havana. We will be making a couple of stops 1) Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables. 2) South Beach. 3) Little Havana for those cigar lovers and last but not least some real Cuban coffee. 2nd item of the day is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour cruise on the El Loro (pirate ship). This is also set up so that we may have the pleasure of seeing daylight and the sunset. When we get back we will spend the remainder of the time at Bayside. There you can get some shopping in, a drink or 2 or 3, and dinner on your own. We want to try to be back at the Hotel by 8:00 pm. Day 3) Enjoy a nice continental breakfast, have your luggage outside your door by 8:30 am and ready to depart at 9:30 am. We will finish our three day trip with a fun time at the Parrot Jungle Island where we will have a 3-4 hour stay. After Parrot Jungle Island we will stop once again at Bayside to get some last minute shopping in and get a light snack. On the way home we will once again stop for a 45 minute break in Clewiston. We should arrive home somewhere around 5 and 6 pm. There will be some kind of snacks and water on the bus for the trip down and back. Prices per person: $349.00 pp Double Occupancy Includes: Transportation, Lodging, Tickets for: Cape Florida State Park, Everglades Safari, 1 Dinner, Continental breakfast, Step on Guide, Pirate ship, and Parrot Jungle Island. |
